Research Image Of Qufu Confucius Culture Festival In Major Official Media With The Theory Of Framing

The international Confucius cultural festival in China(qufu)is one of the most famous festivals in China.In 2007,the Confucius cultural festival was upgraded to national hosting,becoming an indispensable dissemination platform for the national image and a good opportunity to promote the international exchange of Chinese excellent traditional culture.Due to the particularity of the international scope of the government hosting and dissemination of Confucius cultural festival,the official media has become a major force of reporting.The discourse system and the reporting style used by the official media have an important influence on the image of Confucius cultural festival,so the content of the news report of the official media is the research object.The National People’s Daily,the provincial People’s Daily,the Jining Daily and the Qufu Confucius Cultural Festival,the only official online media that directly publishes information about the festival,were selected for the official media of 2007—2017,and 203 stories were collected after a series of screenings.In the perspective of framework theory,the author uses literature research method,content analysis method and comparative analysis method to analyze the image of Confucius culture festival,Confucius image and qufu city image shaped by the news reports of the state media.However,in further analysis,it is found that the content of the news report of the state media is seriously typified,the issue of reporting is unbalanced and the problem of ignoring the news report after the festival causes the disadvantages of the image of the Confucius cultural festival being stratified,one-sided and downplayed.
