Culture teaching is not limited to specialized culture courses.Listening courses is not only a language skill course,but also a way to spread Chinese culture.In fact,there are a large number of Chinese cultural factors in Chinese listening teaching materials.Besides the obvious cultural factors such as special cultural words,there are implicit cultural factors such as thinking mode and social ideology,which may cause difficulties in understanding or conflict in communication.The ultimate goal of language teaching is make learners master the language and apply it flexibly to all kinds of communication scenario.Therefore,in addition to helping students develop good listening habits,making them master the correct listening skills and effective learning methods,the introduction of cultural factors in the teaching of Chinese listening courses is necessary.And it can be realized.Eliminate the influence of personality factors,if we introduce cultural factors and guide them consciously in the beginning of listening courses,it will be beneficial to cultivate cross-cultural awareness of students.And will also have positive influence on their attitude and acceptance of Chinese culture.Regard the process of teaching as the process of spread,the five elements of spread including the spreaders,the information,the recipients,the ways or the medias and the effects correspond to Chinese listening teachers,the cultural factors,the students in the preparatory courses,methods to introduce cultural factors in the teaching process and the effects of it.This thesis on the basis of theoretical analysis,combined with the culture factors teaching practice of cultural factors in preparatory listening courses of Central China Normal University.We will probe into the principles of selecting cultural factors and the ways to spread the cultural factors in preparatory listening courses from the perspective of the recipient cultural factors demands.Based on this,we summarize what qualities the spreaders of cultural factors should have,and finally quantitative analysis the effects of introducing cultural factors in preparatory listening courses.There are seven chapters in the main body of this thesis.Chapter1 is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the reasons of selecting this topic,the current related status,the angle,the content,the purposes,the significance,the innovation points and the methods of this research.Chapter2 is the analysis of the recipients’ cultural factors demands,including the needs of communication,understanding and interest.And the needs of understanding include Chinese language and cultural.Chapter3 is the principles of selecting cultural factors,including grasping contemporary mainstream,phasing step by step and draw a clear distinction between the primary and the secondary.Chapter4 is the way to spread the cultural factors in preparatory listening courses,including grasping the cultural factors in teaching materials,using students’ random questions and timely questioning by teachers,comprehensive application of Internet and cultural products,daily details and teachers’ own presentation.Chapter5 is a summary about what qualities the spreaders of cultural factors should have,including identity and subject consciousness,cultural confidence and cultural literacy,acuity and cross-cultural awareness,the perspective-taking ability and objectivity.Chapter6 is a survey of effects of introducing cultural factors in preparatory listening courses,including investigation and research design,analysis of survey results and summary of investigations and research.Chapter7 is the conclusion and deficiency,which summarize the research conclusions,illustrate the lacks of research and make a prospect.
