Research On The Expression Of Emotion In Children's Picture Book Illustration

Picture books are recognized in the world as being the most suitable for young children to read.Picture books can be a useful tool in the development of children's education and emotional expression.Illustration is the most important component of a picture book.The emotional expression illustrated in the children's picture book is directly related to the effect of the book on the child reader.In this paper I will examine the illustration of emotional expressions used in children's picture books to conclude how this text format may be applied more effectively in children's education.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part of this paper expounds on the background and purpose of the research on the emotional expression of children's picture books,and briefly introduces the contents and methods of the research at home and abroad.The second part begins with the historical origin of picture books,and then analyzes the present situation and summarizes the influence of the picture books on children's cognitive and emotional education.The third part provides research and analysis on the significance of the emotional expression in picture book illustration,in light of the present situation of children's emotional education and the influence of picture books on their emotional expression.The fourth part of this paper is based on the basic resolution of illustration,studied respectively in composition,color and other aspects,to analyze and discuss the illustration of emotional expression.These will be used to provide a summary of the variety of ways picture books apply emotional expression.First,from the perspective of children's picture book illustrations in the composition of the picture perspective and the layout of the screen,the paper demonstrates how children's picture books use illustrations to express emotions through the composition.Then,it studies the influence of the role modelling and expression design on the emotional expression in the children's book illustration.Finally,through the analysis of the use of color in the illustration of the picture book by combining the knowledge of color psychology,the paper sums up the way color is used to express emotion in the illustration.The final conclusion of this paper is that through the study of children's picture book illustration of emotional expression,we can make the art of picture books more rich in depth and artistic connotation,so that picture books are able to play a greater role in children's emotional education.
