Since the 1990s,under the guidance of market economic reforms,the Chinese film industry has developed rapidly and the news industry has also experienced new changes.With the expansion of market share,in order to meet the diverse needs of the audience,Chinese films have become increasingly diverse.In this underground,Chinese directors begin casting their sights on the news industry and constructing the images of journalists of different types of work,gender,and personality.Although western reporter’s films have become a usual image of film,scholarly research results on Western(especially American)reporter films are also abundant.However,in China,the reporter’s film and the research on the reporters in the film account for a minority of the main stream.This article takes the image of a film reporter as the research object of investigation.Through text analysis and case analysis of classic reporter films,this author stands at the intersection of journalism and film studies,and considers the categories of journalist image construction in order to investigate the relationship with real people,and the reasons for the emergence of the image.In the introduction,the author first discusses the relationship between film and news.From the perspective of media fusion and reflection theory,the author interprets the active reflection of film and news on the real society,and then briefly analyzes the various means of film construction of character images.Then the author summarizes the impact of movies and news on the construction of the entire social culture.The first chapter is the classification of the nature of the image of reporters in Chinese films.This article divides it into three categories:"positive image","negative image" and "neutral image".It combines text analysis with specific films and starts with the plot narration of different films to explore the method and purpose of film construction of different reporter images.The second chapter compares the film reporters with the reality reporters.This thesis analyzes the relationship between film characters and realistic characters through three levels of "true reproduction","reasonable processing" and "distorted reflection".Then,it uses sociology,journalism and film theory to apply various themes to the construction of various movie characters.The third chapter analyzes the causes of the diversification of reporters’ images from the status quo of journalism and film industry respectively.Consciousness comes from matter,and consciousness is an active reflection of the objective world.Therefore,the diversification of the identity of real reporters determines the diversity of the construction of film reporters.However,the construction of film reporters not only reflects the reality but is also influenced by multiple factors such as capital,audience,and director.Through the above studies,it can be seen that the construction of the image of reporters in Chinese films presents a trend of diversified development.This trend not only inevitably manifests of China’s current prosperous film industry,but also reflects the art as a source of reality,and the relationship between movies and real society actively.This thesis also uses this to open up a new perspective on the ecology of the news industry from the perspective of film science.
