| National festivals are the enrichment and essence of ethnic cultures,and they are important carriers for the expression in national cultures.The study of the changes in ethnic festivals is to study the changes of national social culture.The Kazakh people living in China and Kazakhstan are of the same ethnic group and have common ethnic origins and religious beliefs.There are different features in Kazak people under the influence of two countries’ differences in politics,economy,culture and historical background.Nowruz Festival is the traditional Spring Festival of the Kazakh and China.It is certainly a rare intangible cultural heritage for both countries.And it has a very important position in the hearts of the Kazakh people.The festivals in two countries both have suffered great loss during the history,but it also showed tortuous development in constant adaptation and inheritance.Therefore,the author believes that the study of the traditional ethnic festivals of China and Kazakhstan in the spirit of “openness,tolerance,mutual benefit,and mutual benefit” will help different peoples better their understanding of each other’s socio-economic culture,promote mutual understanding and built a bridge for the international conversations and cooperation of the two countries.And also provides practical experience for exchanges and cooperation between countries along the “one Belt and Road.”With the methods of field research,literature research and comparative methodology,the author intends to compare the similarities and differences between China and Kazakhstan on Nowruz.Kazakh free trade zone in Khorgos,Tex county and Zhaosu county in Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture and Toli county in Tacheng are chosen as the field survey sites,and the writer interviewed several foreign students from Kazakhstan to get more information.This article consists of seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the background,significance,research status at home and abroad,methods of the research and field selection,and lays the foundation for the later writing of this article.The first chapter is a brief introduction of Nowruz.It outlines what is the Ludwig Lutheran Festival,and explains the history of Nowruz,as well as the protection and inheritance in China,Kazakhstan and the rest of the world.The second chapter describes the festival scene of Nowruz in three aspects: the preparation before the festival,the ceremony and customs on the day of the festival,the performing arts during the festival,and the sports and entertainment competition,trying to restore the festive scene.In the third and fourth chapters,the author compares the content and culture of Nowruz and analyzes the commonness and differences between the two countries.In the fifth chapter,the author explores the now day’s value of Nowruz in the context of the “The Belt and Road”.This festival has important practical significance and is playing an important role in the promotion of the “The Belt and Road”.In the seventh part,the writer draws a conclusion that there are many similarities in the festival content and cultural activities in Nowruz.But there are great differences in modernization,concepts,and influences of the festival.The differences show the features of "harmony in diversity”,in line with the "World Cultural Diversity" initiative promoted by UNESCO.The eco-friendly,peaceful and friendly holiday cultural connotation of Nowruz is in line with the needs of the development of today’s era.Actively carrying out the protection and transmission of international conversations through the Nowruz will not only improve China’s cultural soft power,but also increase international discourse power,and will play a positive and positive role in the construction and promotion of “The Belt and Road”. |
