Research On The Effect Of Dialects On The Formation Of Homophonic Network Catchwords From Sociolinguistics

With the continuous development of China's network,Chinese network language has changed greatly.And this change is mainly manifested in vocabulary,the emerging network catchwords have also been incorporated into people's daily language.Among them,homophonic catchwords account for the major part of network catchwords.Nowadays,the dialect-based homophonic catchwords have been widely used by people.However,the study of dialect-based homophonic network catchwords has just started and still needs further exploration and development.For this reason,this thesis takes language variation and speech community in sociolinguistics as theoretical framework,complementing by quantitative research method and qualitative research method.This thesis takes the collected dialect-based homophonic catchwords as corpus,and pays special attention to analyze the effect of dialects on the formation of homophonic network catchwords,the social factors affecting the formation of homophonic network catchwords.It is found through the thesis that there exist a large number of dialect-based homophonic catchwords in network catchwords,which have different realization forms,and play different functions in the communication of the virtual speech community.The effect of dialect involved in this thesis on homophonic catchwords is mainly reflected in the formation of consonants,vowels,vocabulary borrowing,intonation and the combination of consonants and vowel these five aspects.These five aspects are based on the functions and interactions of language variation and speech community.This kind of dialect-based homophonic network catchwords can contribute the communication and exchange of people from different areas on network.It is also a good way for people to express their inner feelings in a humorous way and truly express their emotions.It can help to create a harmonious and relaxing communicative atmosphere.At the same time,the thesis indicates that the main reasons for the formation of dialect-based homophonic catchwords are embodied in context factor,psychology factor and linguistic factor.The particularity of network communication context,the psychological characteristics of the Internet communicators and the internal features of the language contribute to the formation of dialect-based homophonic network catchwords.The above thesis proves the characteristics and forms of homophonic network catchwords and analyzes the causes of this phenomenon.The thesis expands the research perspective of homophone in network catchwords to some extent,and provides realistic basis and references for people to understand and use homophonic network catchwords.
