| After the imprisonment of the new prisoners,due to restrictions on personal freedom,in the face of a new living environment,the pressure of public opinion and the moral condemnation,they will face a series of psychological problems.When these psychological problems are aggravated,the new prisoners will have dangerous behaviors such as injury,self-harm and suicide.Therefore,it is particularly important to use reasonable psychological counseling techniques to help new prisoners to reduce their anxiety levels and to create a stable and healthy mentality to adapt to the next prison reform life.House-tree-person painting test is not only a kind of projective psychological testing technology,but also a good psychological treatment method.On the one hand,the house-tree-person painting can break through the restrictions of language and express the emotions and inner conflicts that are suppressed in their subconscious,so as to obtain the satisfaction brought by emotional catharsis and release.On the other hand,prison police and therapists can also use the characteristics of painting test to effectively evaluate,intervene and treat the psychological problems of newly admitted prisoners.Research purpose:The study is to provide an effective reference index for the psychological assessment of new prisoners;to explore the applicability and effectiveness of House-tree-person painting test in intervening anxiety among new prisoners;and to expand the"House-tree-person Painting Test"application areas.Research methods:This study is mainly divided into two parts.The first part mainly uses the questionnaire survey method to investigate the anxiety of 107 new prisoners(in the period of 0-24 weeks)in a prison in Zhejiang Province.The questionnaires used were the Symptom Checklist(SCL-90)and the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA).There were 107 valid questionnaires.The second part is mainly to explore the effectiveness and applicability of House-tree-person painting test in intervening the anxiety of new prisoners.Through the first part,the newly admitted prisoners were screened,and 50 qualified subjects were selected and randomly divided into two groups of 25 people.For the 25 subjects in the experimental group,the house-tree-person painting test was adopted Through a total of 8 interventions for 4 weeks.After the intervention,the two groups were tested at the same time.Research Results:The data of the first stage showed that over 70%of the prisoners felt anxiety after their admitted for 24 weeks.The data of the second stage illustrated that the total scores of HAMA,SAS,SCL-90 and the scores of the anxiety factor of SCL-90 of the experimental group in pretest were significantly lower than that in posttest.However,there was no significant difference in the total score of SCL-90,the total score of SAS and the total score of HAMA in the control groupResearch conclusions:First,the newly admitted prisoners are high-risk groups with emotional anxiety,which require special attention and timely intervention.Second,House-tree-person painting test has applicability and effectiveness in the intervention of new prisoners’ anxiety. |
