A Relevant Study Of Discourse Marker "Woshuo(我说)+ Modal Particle"

In modern Chinese,the discourse marker“Wo Shuo(我说)+modal particles”often appears at high frequency,and plays an important role in communication.The research object of this paper is discourse marker“Wo Shuo(我说)+modal particles”.Based on the existing related research results on the discourse marker“Wo Shuo(我说)”,according to its pragmatic characteristics,we divided it into triggered discourse marker“Wo Shuo A(我说啊)”,hermeneutic discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”,confirmative discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”.This paper is an investigation on the use pattern,function,formation processes and comparison with discourse marker“Wo Shuo(我说)”of“Wo Shuo(我说)+modal particles”as a discourse marker.The dissertation consists of six chapters:The introduction is the first part.First of all,we introduced research status of discourse markers at home and abroad.After that,we reviewed the research results related to“Wo Shuo(我说)”.Then on the base of these,we clarify research purposes,significance,methods and corpus sources in order to identify the object of study.In the second chapter,we mainly judges the nature of“Wo shuo(我说)+modal particles”,according to the theory of discourse markers.Firstly,we determine the criteria for judging discourse markers,and define the identity of“Wo Shuo(我说)+modal particles”as discourse markers.According to its pragmatic characteristics,we divided it into triggered discourse marker“Wo Shuo A(我说啊)”,hermeneutic discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”,confirmative discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”.In the third chapter,We make a comprehensive study of the triggered discourse marker“Wo Shuo A(我说啊)”.Firstly,we describe the distribution of the discourse position of“Wo Shuo A(我说啊)”,which is generally located at the beginning and middle of the turn.Secondly,it analyzes the text organization function and interpersonal interaction function of“Wo Shuo A(我说啊)”.Then it analyses its formation process,and holds that its formation process is closely related to the grammaticalization of“Wo Shuo(我说啊)”and the addition of the modal word“A(啊)”.Finally,it analyzes the similarities and differences between“Wo Shuo(我说)”and discourse marker“Wo Shuo A(我说啊)”.We make a comprehensive study of the hermeneutic discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”in chapter four.First of all,we investigate the use pattern of“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”,and deem that there are generally three parts in the existence of“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”.Secondly,it analyzes the text organization function and interpersonal interaction function of“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”.Then it analyzes the formation processes.Finally,it analyzes the similarities and differences between“Wo Shuo(我说)”and discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ne(我说呢)”.We makes a comprehensive study of the confirmative discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”in chapter five.First of all,we research the use pattern of“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”,and think that there are generally three parts in the existence of“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”.Secondly,it analyses the text organization and interpersonal interaction functions of“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”.Then it analyzes the formation process.Finally,it analyzes the similarities and differences between“Wo Shuo(我说)”and discourse marker“Wo Shuo Ba(我说吧)”.In the sixth chapter,we summarize the main contents of this paper.
