On The Design And Shaping Of Figures In Dance

The nature of dance is to demonstrate vivid characters.Every move in the dance originate from life.It is an art form extracted from life as well as one of the most useful tools to shape a character.The design and shaping of a character in the dance is the key to the success of the dance.This thesis will carry out a research on the design and shaping of the characters in the dance “Anhui Girl”.On the strength of the researches of predecessors,this thesis will analyze the moves,props,music,illumination and space of the work from the perspective of case study.In the end this thesis will make a summary of the author’s own performance experience and the methods of shaping characters in the dance performance in an effort to systematically enhance the author’s theoretical and practical dance ability through this research.
