Study On Calligraphy Art Of Tablet Forehead In Sui Tang And Two Song Dynasties

The thesis of this article is Calligraphy Inscription of Dynasty Sui,Tang and Song.Judging from writings about Bronze and Stone Inscription,Calligraphy Inscription takes the most part.While articles especially focusing on monument of Sui,Tang and Song are minor and rare.Yet study on basic amount,regional distribution,characteristics and performance distinction of the whole term didn’t exist.On account of these questions,this article began with a large amount of tablet rubbings of this term,and gathered information from Compilation Collection of Calligra phy Inscription Rubbings of the Past Dynasties in National Library of China.Moreover,we sort ed out general charactetistics of Seal Character,Official Script,Regular Script,Running Script and Feibai Script monuments consulting professional books published recent years.Then we an alyzed the development of calligraphy inscription and proclaimed the entire inheritance and adv ancement.Besides,we also follow up such topics as rub&wash,carve&gouge,cut&pick of monuments in hope of expanding and assisting the study on calligraphy inscription of that time.
