The academics have carried on thorough research in the studies of The Book of Songs in the Qing Dynasty, but scarcely any in the Hui ZhouTi and Hui Dong's studies, who were highly fruitful by their research on this book. The Wu School valued the inheritance of their family learning. The tradition of revering sinology can be clearly viewed from Hui's studies The Book of Songs on.This essay will start from Hui's works,Shishuo and Maoshiguyi, and refer to other scholars' studies, aiming to explore the fruits of the two Hui's research. There are mainly three parts: the Introduction, the body and the conclusion. In the Introduction, there will be a review on the current studies on the two Hui's research on The Book of Songs, and also the elaboration on the reason of the chosen topic and the methodology applied in this essay. In the main body, there will be four chapters. In the first chapter, the background of the two Hui's lives and their studies will be introduced. The introduction to their lives will be supported by the historic books, the related notes, letters and other materials.Next, the development of the studies of The Book of Songs in the Qing Dynasty will be briefly listed.Eventually, the styles of Shishuo and Maoshiguyi will be summarized. The second chapter studies the content and value of Shi Shuo. This chapter interprets the text of Shishuo.First,it explains its liuyi, including " Feng"," Ya" and " Song" with different sounds. The meaning of wind comes from Yi Family Gua.The time when Nan was written was not before Wen Wang;" Feng" and " Ya" are both dead while " Poetry" is dead." Ode" is " recite";Lu Zhizhi has " Ode" instead of " Wind" because his music does not conform to the rhythm of " Wind".Poetry has positive changes in various periods. It is not only what " Poetry Spectrum" says about changing " Feng" to " Ya".Secondly,it elaborates the purport of " Shi Shuo" and summarizes its tendency to follow " Xiao Xu".When analyzing the purport of the poem,Hui Zhouti mostly discussed the purport of the poem with history, the purport of the poem with propriety, and the purport of the poem with famous things. The third chapter mainly analyzes the key points of Hui Dong's " Mao Shi Gu Yi",including denying that the author of " Guan Ju" is Bi Gong, proving the history of the extinction of Gui country by Zheng. In addition,it also analyzes the characteristics of Mao Shi Gu Yi's interpretation of Shi and summarizes its characteristics of advocating ancient meaning, advocating sinology and questioning Ji Zhuan. In addition, this chapter also explains the view of Mao Shi Gu Yi on the study history of The Book of Songs, and analyzes Hui Dong's view that Da Mao Gong wrote Mao Zhuan and Xue Fuzi wrote Han Shi Zhang Ju.The last chapter discusses the criticism of the book of songs and its influence.Comparing the criticism of " two benefits" in the book of songs, the similarities lie in their emphasis on the connection between " book of songs" and history, and the connection between " book of songs" and " rites".The difference between the two lies in that Hui Zhou ti's theory of " poetry" tends to be both Han and song dynasties but also to sinology, while Hui dong's theory of " poetry" advocates inheriting sinology. In addition, the study of " The Book of Songs" by "Two benefits" has influenced the study of " The Book of Songs" by Yu Xiaoke and Qian Daxin, providing them with ideas and directions. The last part is the conclusion of this article. This part mainly summarizes the research results of this article and summarizes the value and deficiency of The research on Hui Zhouti and Hui Dong's stuides in the Book of Songs.
