| Sleep is not only a basic and important physiological phenomenon, but also closely related to human physiology, psychology and daily life. The influencing factors of sleep quality are complex and diverse. At present, the research on sleep quality of human beings mainly involves emotions, stress, cognition and physiology, and has achieved some results. In order to improve people’s sleep quality, the research on sleep-related issues has received wide attention. However, the research on sleep-related issues of middle school students in our country is relatively weak in breadth and depth. From the existing literature, cognitive and emotional factors are important factors affecting sleep quality.Different cognitive patterns and emotional states can have a great impact on sleep. The low quality of sleep will also affect the daily learning and life of middle school students, and academic stress will directly lead to the instability of students’emotional state, which has created a vicious circle Therefore, for the quality of sleep of middle school students,we can start from the internal causes, explore the cognitive model of middle school students, and the way of emotional regulation on the impact of sleep quality. Therefore, this study selected junior high school students in rural areas as the research object to explore the relationship among sleep quality, cognitive fusion and cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and try to verify the mediating role of cognitive emotion regulation strategies in sleep quality and cognitive fusion. This study used Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale,Cognitive fusion Questionnaire and Cognitive Emotional Regulation Strategy Scale to investigate 625 students in three rural junior middle schools in Dafeng District of Yancheng City.Data analysis was conducted using various software. The results were as follows:1.The total score of cognitive fusion of rural middle school students is27.22±11.56,and there are significant differences between male and female students and whether they have only one child or not 2.Reception factors are the most frequently used emotional regulation strategies by rural middle school students.3.There are 206 rural middle school students with sleep problems, accounting for 33%of the total number. There are significant gender differences in daytime dysfunction factors in sleep quality, and significant differences in sleep duration factors in grades.4.There are two correlations among cognitive fusion, cognitive emotion regulation strategies and sleep quality of rural middle school students.5.Active re-focus,rational analysis, meditation, catastrophe and cognitive fusion can significantly predict sleep quality.6.Cognitive fusion can not directly affect the sleep quality of rural middle school students, but it can indirectly affect the sleep quality of rural middle school students through emotional regulation strategies.Cognitive fusion indirectly affects the sleep quality of rural middle school students through negative cognitive emotional regulation strategies, accounting for two-thirds of the total effect. From the above results,we can conclude that cognitive emotion regulation strategies and cognitive fusion can affect sleep quality, and cognitive emotion regulation strategies play a mediating role between cognitive fusion and sleep quality. |
