The Research Of The Duplicated Words In Chuci

Chuci(《楚辞》)is the source of Chinese Romantic Literature.It contains seventeen poems by Qu Yuan,Song Yu and Huai Nanxiaoshan,Dongfang Shuo,Wang Bao,Liu Xiang as well as Wang Yi et al of the Han Dynasty.Although there were many classical verse works using the duplicated words in batches in the pre-Qin period,Chuci is representative in terms of frequency and quantity.Based on Supplementary Notes to Chuci(《楚辞补注》),this paper makes a systematic and closed study of the duplicated words in Chuci by means of data statistics,point-to-surface combination and comparative analysis,and comprehensively probes into their grammar,word meanings and variants in order to explore several basic features of ancient Chinese.The introductory chiefly analyses the current research status and the basic situation of the duplicated words and their variants in Chuci.Some existing problems in the current research are pointed out and the innovative points are put forward.The grammatical study of the duplicated words in Chuci.The forms of formation are AA and AABB,and their parts of speech are mainly adjective,onomatopoeia and interjection,and their syntactic functions are relatively complete.The word meaning analysis of the duplicated words in Chuci,mainly draws the conclusion that the word meaning types of duplicated words in Chuci are describing characters,describing things and imitating sounds.Its word meaning features from two aspects are word form and word meaning and word and morpheme.And its word meaning functions are expressing emotion,describing shape and sound and harmonize rhythm.The investigation of variants of the duplicated words in Chuci.We collates and tests the duplicated words in Chuci from the three dimensions of character,vocabulary and sentence,and inspects its internal causes and external influences.Finally,the concluding remarks grasp the language rules in grammar,word meaning and variant of the duplicated words in Chuci as a whole.
