In recent years,as a new subject in the field of preschool education,preschool children's English has developed rapidly.At present,more and more kindergartens in large and medium cities have set up English courses,which are widely praised as characteristic education.However,the lack of teachers has made the preschool children's English education problem prominent,causing social and parental doubts.As vocational colleges for cultivating preschool English teachers,what teaching models should we adopt to improve students' vocational English skills? This is worth our further study and discussion.The teaching mode of“integrative teaching-learning-practicing”was put forward by Jiang Dayuan.This is a kind of teaching approach which is based on the working process,task-driven and set in the actual working environments.It advocates learning by practicing in the real situations and it is driven by the arranged tasks.Thus the perfect combination of teaching,learning and practicing is achieved.By applying it to the teaching of preschool English,the disadvantages of the traditional teaching model are solved and it is beneficial to the training of students' vocational English ability.However,the research on the application of this teaching model into English teaching for higher vocational preschool education major is still at the primary stage,therefore,this thesis takes English teaching of preschool education as an example.I conduct the questionnaires and interviews,focusing on the main problems existing in the implementation of the "integration" and their causes.The main results include: the teaching mode is widely recognized by teachers and students;teachers' integrated teaching adaptability is weak;not all the students are active in class activities;students' practice time is insufficient and form is unitary;English teaching is lack of pertinence and “integrated teaching” conditions are insufficient.The main reasons for the above problems are as follows: the qualities of the “double teachers” are different;the qualities of the students are varied;the curriculum is unreasonable and the evaluation systems are not perfect.Therefore,in order to improve the teaching mode and to ensure the completion of the training target of higher vocationaleducation,some proposals are raised.Proposals are as follows: 1.strengthening the construction of teaching staff;2.optimizing the form of organization;3.optimizing teaching resources;4.optimizing English curriculum system;5.providing diverse educational practice;6.improving the evaluation system of "integration".Finally,I summarize the whole thesis,draw the conclusions,point out the deficiencies and prospects of the research.
