Innovation ability is one of the key competencies in the 21 st century.Therefore,innovative talents are in great need of the society;nevertheless,the cultivation of innovative talents requires innovation of teachers,and educational innovation is the premise of innovative education.In the aspect of Vocational Education,China is gradually advancing from a large country to a powerful one,so it is very important to improve the innovation ability of Vocational Education.At the same time,China's Preschool Education achieves a great-leap-forward development,thus Early Childhood Education has increasingly become the hot spot of practice and research in the field of Preschool Education.However,from the actual situation as well as investigation and analysis,it can be seen that kindergarten teachers lack innovation capacity,which seriously hinders the development of innovative education for children.Therefore,Vocational Education must adapt to the requirements for talents of modern society,cultivate a large number of innovative kindergarten teachers and thus further promote the quality of Early Childhood Education in China.In order to further enhance the innovation ability of Preschool Education students,especially their innovation ability of Children's English Teaching,the author applies the Task-based Approach in the course teaching of Oral English for Teaching Kindergarten Kids and incorporates the concepts of teachers' “innovative teaching” and students' “creative learning”,aiming at exploring an effective way to foster Preschool Education majors' innovation ability of Children's English Teaching.The author assumes that: 1)The application of Task-based Approach in the teaching of Oral English for Teaching Kindergarten Kids can improve Preschool Education majors' oral English proficiency;2)Task-based Approach can stimulate the“creative learning” ability of Preschool Education students,which further transforms into their innovation ability of Children's English Teaching.The author mainly demonstrates that TBA is effective to cultivate majors' innovation ability of Children's English Teaching.The author implements traditional teaching method and Task-based method in two classes from Jiangmen Polytechnic.60 subjects participate in the experiment.30 of them from class 1form experimental group while another 30 from class 2 as the control group.The author uses Task-based Approach in the experimental class and the traditional 3P teaching method in thecontrol class.The author employs the research instruments including PRETCO and oral English proficiency pre-test,OEFTKK post-test,questionnaires as well as classroom observation,recording and reflection to collect empirical data.By applying to statistical analysis,some very fruitful results show that the students in EC have a better performance in Oral English than those in CC and the students in EC have a stronger innovation ability of Children's English Teaching compared with the students in CC.Therefore,the author realizes that Task-based Approach can effectively promote the oral English proficiency of Preschool Education majors compared with the traditional 3P teaching method and confirms the hypotheses proposed in the research.On the basis of the discussion of research questions,the author concludes that Task-based Approach has a remarkable effectiveness in cultivating Preschool Education majors' innovation ability of Children's English Teaching as well.In addition,the author integrates the concepts of teachers' “innovative teaching” and students' “creative learning” with Task-based Approach,which can be considered as a supplement to it and suggests some implications implementing Task-based Approach for vocational teaching.Although the findings of the study can be useful for those who are teaching in the field of Vocational Education,the scope of the study is still limited and some further studies should be carried out in the future.
