In order to solve the problems of procrastination in English learning,we find out so many internal and external factors.Internal factors refer to non-intellectual factors such as personal cognition,hobbies,personality,self-control,etc.The external factors include learning task,class environment,teacher-student relationship,family culture,etc.According to the observation of my teaching,it is possible to study the influence of the two on the learning delay from interest and self-efficacy.This study adopted the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire and so on,made a research on the 476 students from Grade Three to Grade Six of Guangzhou Haizhu District Binjiangdong Road Primary School.From the view of psychology,to discuss the situation and the characteristics of the delay,interest and self-efficacy of English learning,their relationship and the role of self-efficacy.The study shows that:(1)The pupil's procrastination in English learning is common but not serious.There was a significant difference between only-child and non-only-child.(2)There was no significant difference between gender and grade in interest and self-efficacy of pupil's English learning.(3)Pupils' procrastination,self-efficacy and interest in English learning are related to each other and there is a significant correlation between them.Regression is also significant.The intermediary role of self-efficacy is also significant.(4)Pupils' interest and self-efficacy have a significant negative predictive effect on learning procrastination in English learning.The problem of pupils' procrastination in English learning can be solved by increasing their interest and self-efficacy.Finally,effective strategies are put forward to cultivate pupils' interest in English learning,improve their sense of self-efficacy,and solve the problem of procrastination in English learning.
