As individual factors of learners,learning strategies,learning motivation and English Autonomous learning have been widely valued in the field of foreign language teaching.Therefore,learning motivation,learning strategies and English Autonomous learning are of great significance to senior high school student.In recent years,many studies have investigated the relationship among senior high school students’ learning motivation,autonomous learning and learning strategies.Many researchers believed that students’ learning strategies play an mediating effects in the relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement,while few study focused on the mediating effect of learning strategies.Therefore,based on the existing research,this paper investigated the relationship among senior high school students’ learning motivation,learning strategies and autonomous learning from the perspective of English core competency,and explored the relationship about the three factors.On this basis,it further explored the mediating effect of learning strategies.In this study,280 senior high school students were selected as the subjects.According to the results of questionnaires,the relationship between learning motivation,learning strategies and autonomous learning was investigated.It mainly answers the following three questions: 1.What are the levels of learning motivation,learning strategies and autonomous learning of senior high school students? 2.What is the correlation between learning motivation,learning strategies and autonomous learning? 3.Do learning strategies play mediating effects between learning motivation and English autonomous learning? SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used to analyze the data.The results show that: 1.Senior high school students’ learning motivation,learning strategy and English autonomous learning are at a high level.2.There is a correlation between learning motivation,learning strategies and English autonomous learning.Learning strategies are positively correlated with learning motivation(r=.651**,p<.001),while autonomous learning is positively correlated with learning strategies(r=.717**,p<.001),and autonomous learning is positively correlated with learning motivation(r=.750**,p<.001).There is a significant positive correlation between high school students’ learning strategies,learning motivation and autonomous learning.3.Learning strategies play a partial mediating role between learning motivation and autonomous learning,the mediating effect is 0.33(37%).As an intermediate variable,learning strategies can explain the relationship between learning motivation and autonomous learning.Learning motivation can not only directly affect autonomous learning,but also indirectly affect autonomous learning through learning strategies.Based on the above results,the author puts forward operable suggestions on improving students’ learning strategies and points out the shortcomings and limitations of this study,so as to cultivate students’ learning strategies,learning motivation and English autonomous learning,and ultimately improve students’ learning efficiency and English academic achievement from the perspective of English core competency.
