A Study On Prepositions Of Xiangtan Dialect In Hunan Province

This paper uses the methods of field investigation,comparison,diachronic and synchronic combination,description and interpretation,and combines the existing literature to study and analyze the prepositions of Xiangtan dialect.According to the criterion that prepositional phrases can only be used as adverbials or modifiers of sentences,this paper sorts out the prepositional system of Xiangtan dialect.According to the meaning,prepositions are divided into five categories: time-space prepositions,object prepositions,Shi-receiving prepositions,mode and tool prepositions,causes and purposes prepositions.Some important prepositions are selected to describe them,and the characteristics of Xiangtan dialect prepositions compared with Putonghua prepositions are obtained.The passive and disposal sentences are discussed in terms of syntax and semantics,and the passive prepositions and disposal prepositions are discussed in terms of usage and source.This paper tries to show the panorama of Xiangtan dialect prepositions and provide some materials for the study of Chinese dialect prepositions.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is an introduction.This chapter briefly introduces the history,geography,folklore,population and the basic situation of Yisuhe Town in Xiangtan County,introduces the research status of prepositions in Xiang(?)dialect and Xiangtan dialect,and explains the purpose,significance,writing methods and phonology of Yisuhe dialect in Xiangtan County on this basis.The second chapter is the preposition system of Xiangtan County dialect.The author counts 73 prepositions in the field survey and divideds them into five categories:time-space(??)preposition,acceptance(??)preposition,mode and means-based(????)preposition,cause-purpose(????)preposition and object(??)preposition.Nineteen sub-categories such as time,place,direction,distance,disposal,passivity,involvement,substitution and comparison are further subdivided,and selected some important prepositions to describe.Also discussed the characteristics of Xiangtan dialect prepositions compared with PutonghuaThe third chapter is the passive prepositions and related sentence patterns in Xiangtan dialect.This paper probes into the syntactic and semantic characteristics of passive sentences in Xiangtan dialect,describes the usage of several passive prepositions,and discusses the sources of the passive marker prepositions such as ba(?),jin(?),ting(?),dai(?)and deng(?).The fourth chapter is the disposal of prepositions and related sentence patterns in Xiangtan dialect.This chapter focuses on the syntactic and semantic analysis of disposal sentences in Xiangtan dialect,points out the differences between ba(?),zhuo(?),zhua(?)and Putonghua,and explores the sources of the three disposal prepositions ba(?),zhuo(?),zhua(?).The fifth chapter is the conclusion,it makes a comprehensive summary of the conclusions of this article,and points out the innovation and shortcomings of the article.
