The Study On Ci Of Wang Shizhen

The Middle and Late periods of Ming Dynasty was a trough in Chinese Ci history.Wang Shizhen can be still out of ordinary with the broad range of theme,the rich emotion and unique style of image combination.He was good at expressing emotion by using the gorgeous words and composing the originally self-created poem.Wang's Ci-poems had a style of his own and also absorbed the quintessence of different schools.However,Yanzhou Ci have been ignored for a long time and there are no research writings ever.This is an urgent issue which need to be inspected totally and systematic research.Basing on the 54 th volume of Four part of Yanzhou Shanren and comparing with a number of Ci collections,the total number of Shizhen Ci can be confirmed as 86.The Ci-poems of Wang Shizhen can be divided into ten categories which were mourning for season,thought of seclusion,yearning the ancients,sorrowing for farewell,missing hometown,admiring the view,presented poems,leisure mood,illness emotion and felling as a female.The thesis makes an overall summarization of the artistry and style of Yanzhou Ci.Wang Shizhen liked to use images,such as curtains,incense,moon,tear,birds and flowers etc.He also used the special wine image to describe the exquisite feeling.The creative naming of tune was fully reflected in his using of tune and all kinds of tune were widely used which have released the renovation of artistry.He used palindrome and Futang style to compose the poems with excellent idea.The style of Shizhen's Ci was not only graceful and profound,but also straight forward likes vivid folk with inheriting the feature of Xin Qiji and Su Shi that formed diversified style.During the comprehensive considering of Yanzhou Ci's quantity,tune,content,artistic originality and reference both from previous comments and later research,Yanzhou Ci was a link between the preceding and the following,which was influenced by Su Shi and Li Qingzhao,and affected Yunjian Ci School.Yanzhou Ci promoted Ming Ci and occupied an important position in the Ming Dynasty even the whole history of Ci.
