| Learning style is a personal way that learners do not consciously prefer when studying and solving learning tasks.To know the Chinese learning style of international students is of great significance for teachers to adjust their individual teaching style and formulate reasonable and effective teaching strategies.Central Asia is an important area along the Belt and Road.Central Asian international students are also an important part of the students who come to Shaanxi.On the basis of a comprehensive overview of the learning style theory,this study explores the national personality characteristics of the Central Asian nations through systematic review of literatures and network resources,and uses the questionnaire,classroom observation and the way of sample interviews for some of the Central Asian students in the four universities of Shaanxi to explore the relevance of Chinese learning styles and national personality of Central Asian international students.This paper has 7 parts in sum.The first part is the foreword,which includes the selection and meaning of the topic,the research summary of the learning style,the research value,content and method.The second part is an overview of the learning style,which analyzed the theoretical concepts related to this study.The third part is an overview of the national personality characteristics of Central Asians.With the understanding of the national personality theory and the research literature about Central Asia,this part explores its national personality.The fourth part is the survey design and execution.The general method,questionnaire production,optimization processing and distribution process of this survey are introduced.The fifth part is data analysis and discussion.The main contents are the overall analysis of data,the summary of the classroom observation and interview,specific analysis of Chinese learning style tendency and the relevance summary of the national personality.The sixth part is the teaching suggestions based on Chinese learning styles of CentralAsian students.The seventh part is the conclusion,which reflects on this research,and proposes an outlook.The results show that the overall tendency of Chinese learning style of Central Asian international students is: field-dependent style > extroverted style = visual style > impulsive style > kinesthetic style > procedural style > intuitive style >auditory style > detailed style > field-independent style > monolithic style >introverted style > reflective style.Among them,the perception type is mainly visual style and kinesthetic style,the cognitive type is mainly field-dependent style and impulsive style,and the personality characteristics type are mainly extroverted style and procedural style.From the perspective of the national personality characteristics of Central Asia,the four Chinese learning styles of kinesthetic,field-dependent,impulsive and extroverted are obviously influenced by the national personality characteristics of the Central Asians,while the styles of visual and procedural are not obvious.Based on the analysis of the tendency of Chinese learning styles of Central Asian students and the exploration of the national personality of Central Asians,the paper proposes five teaching suggestions: 1)To make full use of blackboard and multimedia;2)To strengthen situation creation and hands-on operation;3)To pay attention to the cultivation of communicative competence in Chinese;4)To carry out effective group activities;5)To pay attention to systemic and progressive in Chinese teaching. |
