Mobile learning mainly refers to a new learning style that uses wireless mobile communication network technology and equipment to obtain educational information,resources and service.It can help learners learn anything at any time,anywhere.Mobile learning has an important impact on English autonomous learning ability because of its advantages such as mobility,convenience and interaction.Previous studies mainly focused on the current situation of mobile learning and English autonomous learning ability,and few studies analyzed the impact of mobile learning on English autonomous learning ability.Therefore,this paper not only analyzed the current situation of mobile learning and English autonomous learning ability of senior high school students,but also explored the relationship between them so as to judge whether mobile learning can influence English autonomous learning ability.The author selected 175 senior high school students from Xi'an Qujiang No.1High School as research participants.Questionnaire and interview were adopted and SPSS20.0 was used to analyze collected data by descriptive analysis and correlation analysis.The purpose is to understand the overall situation of mobile learning and English autonomous learning ability of senior high school students,and further discuss whether there is a correlation between mobile learning and English autonomous learning ability and explore whether mobile learning can influence English autonomous learning ability.The results show that first,high school students generally use mobile devices with multiple functions.Mobile learning has rich content,diverse forms and extensive resources.Students hold a positive attitude towards mobile learning.However,students are short of the comprehension of mobile learning,which leads to lack of planning,insufficient motivation,distraction of attention,poor self-control whenusing mobile learning to learn English.Second,English autonomous learning ability of senior high school students is relatively low.Every aspect of English autonomous learning ability is lower than medium level.Third,there is a significant positive correlation between mobile learning and English autonomous learning ability.Mobile learning devices,behavior,resources and attitude are positively correlated with all dimensions of English autonomous learning ability,namely,understanding teaching objectives,intentions and requirements,formulating learning objectives and plans,making use of learning strategies and monitoring and evaluating learning process.Therefore,mobile learning can influence English autonomous learning ability to a certain extent.
