On The Teaching Of Bass In Chinese Universities

Bass is the lowest sounding instrument in modern Symphony Orchestra.It is the basis of basic rhythm.It is an indispensable instrument in Chinese and Western instrumental solo,ensemble,ensemble and other performance forms.It has been passed on and spread in China for nearly 200 years.Compared with the string instruments of violin,Viola,cello,flute,percussion,Clarinet and other orchestras,the bass still has a certain gap with other instruments in performance form,education system,theoretical research,popularization and other aspects.The research on the bass system of higher music education in China is the bridge and link to improve the transmission and inheritance of bass in China.As one of the courses of music performance major in comprehensive colleges,the teaching environment and learning atmosphere of bass performance are not strong enough.In particular,the lack of teachers,the shortage of teaching materials,teachers’requirements for students’performance are not standardized,and there are still some disadvantages in copying western teaching mode,as well as in combining Chinese national style.For how to spread and develop the bass in China,we still need a more comprehensive solution.Therefore,on the basis of the existing,we need to make some adjustments to the whole domestic bass teaching mode,so that the bass art should be diversified and scientific development.This paper puts forward some constructive ideas on the reform of bass in Higher Education in China.It is hoped that the teaching system of Chinese bass will be the purpose of this paper.
