Semantic field theory is one of the important theories in modern semantics,it refers to the complete and changing lexical system composed of words that are interrelated in meaning.According to the theory of semantic field,the vocabulary of any language is not scattered or isolated,but restricted and dependent on each other.Semantic field theory has certain research value in revealing lexical systematicness and analyzing the combinatorial and aggregative relationship between words.In vocabulary teaching,if the theory of semantic field can be used to guide TCSL vocabulary teaching and help learners build a Chinese vocabulary network system so that words can be stored and remembered in the form of the network,the teaching efficiency and learning efficiency can be improved and learners can memorize words more effectively so as to enlarge their vocabulary.The author takes the students in ELTE Confucius institute as the teaching objects,applying the semantic field theory to practical vocabulary teaching,and through the interview of the students to know the students' evaluation and feedback on the semantic field vocabulary teaching,so as to put forward suggestions for improvement.This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction first introduces the research background,significance,content and method of this paper,then it summarizes the relevant literature from three aspects:the study of semantic field theory,the study of vocabulary teaching in TCFL and the study of semantic field theory in vocabulary teaching.The second chapter analyzes the feasibility of primary Chinese vocabulary teaching under the guidance of semantic field theory,it is mainly from three aspects:the systematicness of Chinese vocabulary and the characteristics of word formation,the cognitive rules of learners' learning Chinese vocabulary and the characteristics of primary Chinese learners in the social class of ELTE Confucius Institute.In the third chapter,I put forward four teaching strategies based on the theory of semantic field and the teaching experience,they are semantic field strategy,association strategy,thematic teaching strategy and diffusion activation strategy.Under the strategy of constructing semantic field,it can be divided into six kinds of semantic fields,which are the semantic field of building the relationship between the upper and lower meanings,the semantic field of the whole and the semantic field of the part and so on.Under each strategy,teaching strategies are elaborated with specific words.The fourth chapter is guided by the four teaching strategies proposed in the third chapter,the teaching design of the new words in lesson 20 of the first volume of Hungarian Chinese textbook is carried out.Analysing the teaching plan design and its effect in classroom,through interviews with students to know students' feedback on this teaching method.Finally,according to the classroom observation and interview results,the author makes teaching reflection and puts forward suggestions for improvement.The fifth chapter is three suggestions for teachers in the teaching of primary Chinese vocabulary based on the theory of semantic field,they are following the principle of moderation and appropriateness,teaching vocabulary in context and giving full play to students' initiativeThe conclusion part summarizes the whole paper,pointing out the shortcomings of this paper.At the same time,it puts forward the methods that need to be further improved in the research process.
