The Gaobingbei goblets of Dawenkou Culture are buried not just in large and medium-sized tombs in high-level sites. The small and medium-sized tombs of low-level sites also unearthed a considerable number of Gaobingbei goblets. The frequency of burying Gaobingbei goblets in some low-level sites are even higher than those of high-level sites such as Dawenkou in the same period. This shows that despite the complex production process of the tGaobingbei goblets, the people of high-level sites do not have the ability to monopol ize this advanced pottery-making skills. The distribution characteristics and burial ratio of tGaobingbei goblets in different sites indicate that cross-region production and d i str i but ion centers may not exist, and local production is more likely. This implying that the Gaobingbeigobl ets were not pure ceremonial vessels dur ing this per iod,but should have certain practical functions. The evolution of the shape and the high co-existence relationship with the pottery Bi in the pit indicate that the tGaobingbei goblets may be used to drink wine with many impurities. In the Longshan culture, the Gaobingbei goblets evolved into a ceremonial vessel, and the practical function of drinking was lost,so the design of the cup-shaped mouth was no longer popular, and the location of the burialin the tomb also changed accordingly. The Gaobingbei goblets are mostly monopo listicdistribution models in high-level sites, with large numbers and large proportions of unearthed in large tombs;in the low-level sites,a distributed distribution pattern is present. The odds are more equal. The house materials of the late Dawenkou culture also indicate that there was no big enough indoor place for large-scale banquet activities during this period. The human bone i n the tombs show that the i nd i v i dua I s w i th Gaob i ngbe i goblets are mainly middle-aged and elderly people.Infants and young children rarely have the opportunity to bury Gaobingbei goblets.Age is an important positive factor that affects the number of funeral items. In some sites, women have more chances of burying Gaobingbei goblets than men. Therefore, the social differentiation in the late Dawenkou culture is to a certain extent between age groups. The status of the female varies from site to site, and there has been no general decline.
