“LIHECI”are a special group of words in modern Chinese language,which can be separated or combined.Generally,there is no problem when they are combined together.However,separable forms of“LIHECI”are complex and varied.As there is no specific type of word corresponding to Chinese“LIHECI”in Thai language,it is more difficult for Thai learners to master and use them.Therefore,this paper will start from the complexity of Chinese“LIHECI”,analyze the forms and compare them with the translation of Thai words.In this paper,we selected 20“verb-object”and”verbcomplement”forms of“LIHECI”from HSK Level 1-3 based on the?HSK?????????????for test papers regarding the research.After collecting and analyzing the test paper results,types and characteristics of errors were obtained,which are the error of inserting Chinese dynamic auxiliary words“?????”into the verb-object form of LIHECI;the error of inserting potential(??),result(??),direction(??)complements words;the error of inserting attributives;the error of overlapping forms(AAB form);the error of inverted forms;the error of inserting"?"and"?"into verb-complement form of“LIHECI”which constituted potential complement errors;the error of inserting"?"and"?"which constituted degree complement errors;the error of inserting nominal elements.We conclude that the characteristics of errors in“verb-object”and”verb-complement”forms of LIHECI occurred by Thai students are,adding some components to modify the LIHECI;limited understanding of“separable”ways;“separated(?LI)”but not complete;overgeneralization.The errors occurred by Thai students when learning“LIHECI”are due to the interference of mother tongue,the influence of target language,the complexity of“LIHECI”themselves and the insufficient amount of teaching.At last,in order to enable Thai students to further understand Chinese “LIHECI”,this paper provides learning strategies for Chinese learners,which includes two aspects: learners should take the initiative to understand “LIHECI”;Learners should take the initiative to use “LIHECI” in real situations.We also provide advice on teaching materials,exercises and methods.The teaching suggestions we propose are mainly focused on teaching methods,which are translation method and comparison method;First teach "HE(combined)" and then teach "LI(separated)";and using mind mapping method.On the basis of the students' learning strategies and teaching suggestions,this paper designs two classes' worth of teaching plan.
