Language is a tool used to communicate ideas,emotions and thoughts.The aim of learning languages is to have better communication with others.One of the goals of middle school students learning English is to improve their language communication skills.However,there is the phenomenon of English communicative ability being neglected or even unconsciously squeezed in the recent years.Classroom teaching time is extremely limited,so it is difficult for students to master all the English skills required in the syllabus in a few lessons,so,the oral English training gradually fade out of the classroom.Therefore,the second class of English should come from time to time,to solve the urgency of spoken English.The first-class leaves students with few opportunities for language practice,students rarely use spoken English to solve the problems.Without step-by-step oral English practice,students' oral communication ability is difficult to improve.The opening of the second English classroom is to meet the desire of students of communicating in English and improves the ability of oral communication,and then consolidate and enhance the first classroom learning results.The thesis is supported by constructivism theory and the second classroom of junior high school English as the carrier to investigate and study students' oral communication ability.This paper aims to present the development of the second classroom of English in junior high school,to seek to improve students' English listening and speaking ability,the effective practical way of oral communication ability,and to accumulate experience at the same time find the existing problems to provide a little reference for the implementation of the second classroom of English in junior high school.The main methods used in this study are action research,interview research,questionnaire.The results of the second classroom show that: through the development of the second classroom teaching in a school year,the students' interest and achievement of English learning in the subject-based experimental class,especially the oralcommunication ability,are clearly higher than those of untested classes.The topic has been greatly supported and verified in practice.From this,it can be seen that under the guidance of constructivism theory,carrying out the second classroom activities can effectively cultivate and improve students' oral English communication ability,which greatly promotes the enthusiasm of learning English.As a result,the second class has proved to be effective.
