As one of the output skills of language,writing plays a very important role in people's life and work.English writing also plays a very important role in high school English teaching.Writing is very important both for students to express their ideas and for teachers to exam students' mastery of the knowledge they have learned.However,writing is a weak link in English teaching at present,which is caused by many reasons,such as unreasonable curriculum setting,teachers' neglect,students' boredom and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to explore a new teaching method for English writing in high school.Anchored instruction teaching model is a teaching model based on constructivism and situational cognition theory,which emphasizes creating situations closely related to real life for students,stimulating students' potential to analyze problems in the real environment,stimulating students' learning needs and cultivating students' ability to solve problems with knowledge.Therefore,anchored instruction teaching model is of great importance in English writing teaching in high school.The purpose of this study is to improve the teaching of English writing in senior high school,to stimulate students' interest in learning,and to clarify the guiding significance of anchored instruction teaching model for English writing teaching in senior high school.This paper focuses on the study of students' attitudes towards anchored instruction teaching model and its impact on English writing teaching in senior high schools.In this study,the author selected two classes of senior high school in a key high school in Harbin for an 16-week experimental study.The English writing scores of the two classes are roughly the same.One class is the experimental class,the other is the control class.The author adopted questionnaire survey,interview and test method,and also used SPSS22.0 software to analyze the experimental data.The experimental results show that students are generally willing to accept the anchored instruction teaching model,and the anchored instruction teaching model has positive effects on English teaching in high school,such as improving students' writing scores,stimulating students' interest in writing and strengthening students' willingness to cooperate inlearning.Finally,the author reflects on the research and puts forward the shortcomings as well as suggestions for the further related research.
