Research On The Design Of Chinese Traditional Animal Patterns Digital Picture Books

The rapid development of information technology and mobile devices has a profound impact on people’s reading style.Among them,digital picture books,with its strong sense of immersion,interactive diversity,rich display and other characteristics,have gradually expanded its influence in the picture book market,with a significant increase in the audience.But in the current content of digital picture books,the traditional Chinese animal patterns are less involved.As an important part of Chinese traditional culture and art,Chinese traditional animal pattern has its unique cultural connotation and artistic value.Combining with digital picture books,it is a way of inheritance and innovation of Chinese traditional culture.The main contents of this paper are as follows.First of all,the background,purpose,ideas and significance of this paper.At the same time,this paper analyzes the current research and status of digital picture books at home and abroad.Secondly,it discusses and studies the related contents of digital picture books,expounds the concept of digital picture books,and analyzes the differences between digital picture books and paper picture books from three aspects of reading carrier,reading interactivity,reading experience,etc.;and narrates the characteristics of digital picture books from the angles of immersion,entertainment,interaction,and non-linear narrative.Then it analyzes the traditional Chinese animal patterns.This paper expounds the concept and artistic value of Chinese traditional animal patterns,analyzes the historical evolution process of traditional animal patterns,and summarizes the artistic characteristics of bird and animal patterns in each dynasty.After that,the design practice of Chinese traditional animal pattern applied to digital picture book.The author summed up a set of modern modeling and drawing methods of traditional animal patterns,carried out a comprehensive aesthetic evolution and innovation of traditional Chinese animal patterns,and formed the design work "one day in Dongling Mountain".Finally,the combination of digital picture books and traditional Chinese animal patterns is prospected.The animal patterns in the elements of traditional Chinese art have important practical value for the creation of digital picture books.We should improve the culturalconnotation of local digital picture books,so that local digital picture books occupy a place in the world’s excellent digital picture books.
