A Study On The Grammar Of Shanghai Dialect Used By The 95s Shanghainese Based On Sociolinguistics

The grammar of Shanghai dialect has changed a lot in the past hundred years.Under the influence of dialect contact,many new forms have produced.After China began to promote Putonghua in the 1950 s,the grammar of Shanghai dialect has been assimilated by the authoritative dialect Putonghua,resulting in many more new forms.At the same time,the old grammatical forms continue to be remaining or dying,and will die out with time.In this paper,the young users of Shanghai dialect who are born after 1995 are chosen as the objects of investigation.A sociolinguistic questionnaire survey is adopted to investigate some changing grammatical phenomena,so as to investigate the retention of the old forms of dialect grammar in the latest dialect in Shanghai,and to study the social variables such as gender,age,language acquisition,language use through quantitative analysis.The relationship between metavariables and grammatical variables is expected to show the features of dialect grammar of young people in Shanghai,explore the influence of Putonghua grammar on the grammar of Shanghai dialect,and try to reveal some details in the process of grammar evolution of Shanghai dialect,and observe the change direction of Shanghai dialect grammar.
