| As far as the development history of Chinese cities is concerned,Northeast China during the Puppet Manchurian period is a special region. From 1931 to 1945,Japan carried out 14 years of colonial rule here.During this time, the cities developed fast and a relatively complete urban system has been formed. However, under the two political backgrounds of resource plundering and long-term ruling, the urban planning led by the Japanese has developed abnormally, and the urban system formed in the Northeastern region has certain deformity characteristics.Based on the historical materials, this paper introduces the modern urban system theory and builds the urban system structure formed in the northeastern region through the visualization methods and tools such as GIS,and uses the quantitative analysis method to deeply explore the drive mechanism of the formation and evolution of the urban system. The content of this paper is divided into 4 parts. In the first 2 parts,by reviewing the materials and collating the data, the natural and humanistic profiles of the northeastern region during the Puppet Manchurian period were restored and the functions of the cities in the region were analyzed. Then in the third part, this paper builds the spatial pattern of the urban system and summarizes its temporal and spatial evolution characteristics. The fourth part mainly analyzes the driving factors of urban system evolution.Extracting natural and human factors such as altitude、slope、aspect、temperature、precipitation、land resources、population density、and river distance, this paper analyzes the impact of these factors on the changes of urban system through quantitative methods,in order to deepen people’s understanding of the formation and evolution mechanism of urban system in a special social context. |
