A Study On The Phonology Of Linxin Dialect In Northern Anhui Province

Northern Anhui dialect is a branch of Central Plains Mandarin and belongs to northern dialect.It has not only the common points of Central Plains Mandarin,but also its own distinct and unique personality.Lixin dialect,which is widely used in Lixin County,northern Anhui Province,is a local dialect with its own accent characteristics.It belongs to the northern Anhui dialect in the division of dialects.Lixin dialect is the author's mother tongue.On the basis of extensive and in-depth field investigation,this paper makes a detailed analysis and description of the phonetic system of Lixin dialect,and makes a brief comparison with the medieval phonetic system.There are five chapters:Chapter 1 "Introduction".It mainly includes the general situation of Lixin County's human geography,Lixin dialect research,Lixin dialect internal voice differences and the division of small pieces,the research methods,significance and value of this paper.Chapter 2 "The phonology of Lixin dialect".Including monosyllabic phonology,monosyllabic tables,homophone vocabulary,tone sandhi,pedagogy,neutral tone and corpus recording.This part is the focus of the phonological description of the whole text,which provides vivid and detailed information about the synchronic phonology of Lixin dialect.Chapter 3 "Comparison of Lixin Dialect and Middle Ages Phonology".Based on the phonological system of Guangyun,this paper makes a diachronic comparison of Lixin dialect,which mainly includes the comparison of consonants,vowels and tones between ancient and modern.Chapter 4 "Important Phonetic Phenomena".Including phonetic characteristics,different meanings and different reading,literary and vernacular reading.Chapter 5 "Concluding remarks".Understanding the significance of dialect research,the importance of fieldwork and the value of providing first-hand information of dialect.Explain the shortcomings of this paper and the direction of future efforts on the basis of this study.
