Since entering the new era,core literacy has become an important part of the education reform after the new curriculum reform.However,the realization of core literacy requires students to study and explore in depth.Under the guidance of core literacy,English Teaching in junior middle schools has a clearer direction.In order to improve students’ comprehensive quality in reading teaching,more extensive and in-depth teaching research and expansion are needed.From the perspective of deep learning,deepening the reform of English Reading Teaching in junior middle schools is an indispensable means in junior middle school English reading teaching.Therefore,this paper launches a study of reading teaching in junior middle school English from the perspective of deep learning based on this background.Taking deep learning and social constructivism theory as the theoretical title,starting from the significance of deep learning in junior high school English reading teaching,starting from the problems of deep learning in junior middle school English reading teaching,this paper puts forward some specific solutions.In order to provide effective help and reference for junior middle school English reading teaching,this paper offers some specific countermeasures and practical measures.This paper aims at the depth study of junior high school English reading teaching,using literature research and action research to explore the teaching of English reading in junior middle school.First of all,with the basic theory as the support,this paper gives an overview of the basic theory of deep learning and social constructivism theory.And this paper also carries out the research on junior middle school English reading teaching under deep learning.This paper proposes two research questions :(1)Can the improvement of English reading teaching strategies effectively improve the deep reading abilities of junior high school students?(2)What are the teaching strategies of junior middle school English reading from the perspective of deep learning? According to the investigation and research,this paper puts forward the present problems existing in the deep learning in junior middle school English reading teaching: the depth of students’ English reading is not enough,students lack motivation in deep reading,the teachers misdirected the students in reading.Based on this,this paper presents a list of teaching intervention strategies in deep learning of junior middle school English reading: teachers design deep questions ingeniously and make and paragraphs and explore deeply to improve their critical thinking abilities;students use mind maps ingeniously to train their transfer,inductive and reasoning abilities of knowledge;students combine reading and writing and expand deeply to cultivate students’ creative thinking ability.After three rounds of action research,finally the author puts forward the teaching strategies of deep learning in junior middle school English reading teaching: think deeply and design questions ingeniously,explore deeply to cultivate students’ creative thinking ability,use mind maps ingeniously to divergent deeply,combine with reading and writing to expand deeply,select material carefully to develop independent reading ability,optimize teaching evaluation to reflect deeply.Through the study of this article,the author hopes to provide substantial theoretical guidance and for the training of junior high school students’ English core literacy and the improvement of junior high school English reading teaching.
