Shyness is an individual's tension and anxiety caused by worrying about other people's negative evaluation in social situations, which is manifested in physiological reactions such as rapid heartbeat and blushing,as well as withdrawal and avoidance.Excessive shyness not only makes individuals experience anxiety and other painful emotions, but also has adverse effects on individual interpersonal relationship, social adaptation and love.A large number of previous studies have confirmed that cognitive behavioral intervention can help to reduce the level of shyness, but it only touches on the cognitive and behavioral factors of shyness, and ignores the deep-seated and protective factors of shyness.Studies have shown that the lower the level of security attachment and psychological capital, the higher the level of shyness.Based on the theory of attachment and the knowledge of positive psychology, this study designed attachment intervention and positive psychological intervention for shyness, and compared with cognitive behavior intervention, tested the effectiveness of attachment intervention and positive psychological intervention on shyness intervention of college students, and developed a new shyness intervention program for college students. In this study,56 subjects were recruited through propaganda, advertisement and interview. They were randomly divided into three groups. At the same time,15 shy students were selected as the blank control group through peer nomination. The experimental group received 10 cognitive behavior, attachment or positive psychological interventions for 20 hours.Using the college students' Shyness Scale, the intimate relationship questionnaire and the psychological capital scale to test the participants' pre-test,post test and follow-up,collect the members' personal activity perception, and analyze the effect of three groups of programs on CollegeStudents' shyness intervention by combining quantitative and qualitative results. The results showed that there were significant differences in the pre-post test and pre-follow-up test of shyness and its dimensions in cognitive behavioral groups(?2 = 0.06);There were significant differences in the pre-post test and pre-follow-up test of shyness and its dimensions in positive groups(?2 = 0.11);There were significant differences in the pre-post test and pre-follow-up test of shyness and its dimensions in attachment groups(?2 = 0.05);There was no significant difference in the pre-post test and pre-follow-up test of shyness and its dimensions in the blank group; There was no significant difference in the post intervention effect between attachment group and cognitive behavior group, and the post intervention effect of positive psychological group on shyness was significantly better than that of cognitive behavior group and attachment group. There was no significant difference in the follow-up effect between attachment group and cognitive behavior group. The long-term effect of positive psychological group on shyness intervention was significantly better than that of cognitive behavior group and attachment group. There were significant differences between attachment group, positive psychological group, cognitive behavior group and blank group in the effect of intervention and follow-up.Conclusion: Attachment group and cognitive behavior group have the same effect on shyness, positive psychological group has better effect on shyness than attachment group and cognitive behavior group.Attachment group and positive psychological group can be promoted as a new method of shyness intervention, especially positive psychological group.
