A Research Regarding The Imbalanced Development Of Private Art Gallery In China

As the first cultural facility for the public to enter the art appreciation area,art gallery presents a city's most cutting-edge cultural position.With the deepening of reform and opening up and the economic society development modes' transformation and upgrading,private capital has become an important force to promote the construction of Chinese art galleries.According to the data of public service platform of Chinese social organizations,there are 1363 art galleries in China by the end of 2019.It includes 499 public art galleries and 864 private art galleries.As an important part of the Chinese art galleries career,private art galleries play an important role in enriching art exhibitions,promoting public art education and maintaining people's ever growing diversified spiritual cultural requirements.In recent years,the total number of private art galleries in China is increasing.However,the quantity and quality of private art galleries in various provinces and cities are obviously imbalanced.Under this circumstance,the realization of regional coordinated development is the future development direction of Chinese private art museum.This paper is a research of the current situation of the regional development of private art museums in China.Based on the definition and classification of Chinese private art museums,this paper utilizes a large number of statistical data making tables and graphs to demonstrate a detailed descriptive analysis of the development history of private art museums in China and the imbalanced regional development status.The analysis procedure mainly applies the comparative analysis method.According to the time sequence,this article compares the development conditions of the private art gallery industry in China in the past 20 years;and then it makes a comparative analysis of the spatial distribution of the eastern and western regions,as well as 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China,to clarify the obvious regional difference of private art museums in China.From the perspective of time development,as a whole,the total number of private art galleries in the eastern region is significantly higher than that in the central and western regions.From the perspective of regional internal analysis,the development of private art galleries in 31 provinces and cities is also different.Among which the development level of private art galleries in Beijing and Shanghai is severely better than that in other provinces and cities,while the development level of private art galleries in most western regions is still in relatively disadvantaged conditions.In view of the current situation of the development status of Chinese private art museums,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the internal and external factors that affect the unbalanced development of private art museums in China by using the method of correlation.The results show that the external economic factors,policy factors,the development of cultural industry,the level of cultural consumption,as well as the internal capital strengths,organizational structure,operation status and the development of professional talents all affect the private art museums' regional development.Whether it is the imbalance of regional economic development,the inconsistency of policy orientation and the difference of policy implementation effect,or the difference of capital strengths,systematization degree of organizational structure,operation situation and development of professional talents,all these factors are the important reasons for the imbalanced regional development of private art galleries.On the ground of above analysis,this paper eventually summaries following thoughts for the regional development of Chinese private art museums:first,it is to strengthen the aggregation of private art museums and cultural industries;second,it is to drive the integrated development of surrounding areas with core radiation;third,relying on relative polices,it is to implement integrated and coordinated development between art gallery and tourism as well as business;it includes integrated and coordinated development of art gallery and tourism and integrated and coordinated development of art gallery and business;fourth,it is to implement cross regional alliance and intervention cooperation development,mainly including two development modes:franchise chain and direct intervention.
