A Comparative Study Of Yijiu Town Yi Dialects And Chinese Dialects

Yijiu Town is located in the south of the county,with geographical coordinates of101 ° 23?-101 ° 28 ? east longitude and 25 ° 51?-26 ° 2 ? north latitude.It is the south g ate of Yongren.The town is connected to the Tigers and Zhonghe in the north,adjacen t to Lianchi in the east,and bordering Dayao County in the south and west.Its main c ommunication terms are Yi and Chinese dialects.Yi and Chinese belong to the SinoTibetan language family.The two are not only related but also different in pronunciati on,vocabulary,and grammar.Yi language belongs to the Yi branch of the Tibetan-Bur mese group in the Sino-Tibetan language family.It is a minority language with compl ex and diverse dialects.Yi language belongs to the central dialect of the six major dial ects of Yi language.However,it is still different from other regions of central dialect.As the Southwestern Mandarin,the appropriate Chinese dialect belongs to the Central Yunnan dialect film of the Southwestern Mandarin.Although it has its general charact eristics,there are still many unique regional phonetic phenomena,which are different from the surrounding Southwestern Mandarin,because It also combines the personalit y characteristics of local minorities.This paper in the field survey and recorded 2544 appropriate is the commonly used words in the language of Yi nationality,on the basis of systematically and objectively describes the appropriate is the town of Yi dialect,a nalyzes the development of Yi language characteristics,at the same time,also on the a ppropriate Chinese dialect of town is the system description,summarizes the system a nd the basic characteristic and cooperate with law,and the differences between dialect and mandarin dialect in the language of Yi made a comparative analysis.Finally,on th e basis of difference are the basic reasons are discussed.The basic conclusion of the c omparative analysis is that the survival of Yi language in Yijiutown is on the verge of "crisis".The general trend is that peoples mastery of Yi language is in direct proportio n to their age,while the opposite is true for Chinese language.This is also an irrefutab le general rule for the survival of Yi language.
