The study of autonomous learning has a long history. In the field of curriculum theory, cultivating students' autonomous learning ability is regarded as an important course goal and an important means of course implementation. In the field of teaching theory, autonomous learning is regarded as an important teaching method. In the field of learning theory, autonomous learning is regarded as a high-level way of learning. To achieve autonomous learning, requiring learners guidance on how to use the learning resources in the classroom, how to plan the allocation of time, how to evaluate their own learning performance, however, middle school students' self-cognitive and self-control are still in the initial development period,in the junior middle school stage,to cultivate the students' autonomous learning ability in time can reduce interference of the established bad study habits and so on;In addition,English subjects are taught in a task-based way,and the design and implementation of learning tasks are more conducive to promoting students' independent participation.Through reading and analyzing the literature related to the study of autonomous learning and learning tasks, this study grasped the research status of autonomous learning in class, combined with the practical problems encountered in the process of school internship, and thus determined the starting point and direction of this study. Then,a case study is conducted on the selected English class,Class F,grade 2 in a middle school in Chengdu, was selected as an example.Based on babansky's theory of teaching process optimization, this paper presents the design and implementation of autonomous learning tasks in class F from four aspects: task preparation, task design, implementation and effect evaluation. To construct the basis of this study on the stratification of classroom autonomous learning tasks, that is,the differences in autonomous learning. The first is the differences in desire to learn: motivation and belief, including self-judgment,self-value,motivation,learning attitude and interest; The second is the difference in ability to learn: methods and strategies, including the use of cognitive strategy learning resources; The third is the difference between learning control and evaluation, including self-monitoring,self-regulation and self-evaluation.By analyzing the case of autonomous learning task in English class F,this paper explores the conditions for the hierarchical design and implementation of autonomous learning task in class F,including subject condition, content condition and environment condition. Finally, from the perspective of teachers, putting forward the strategy of task stratification in English classroom autonomous learning. This study is only a case-based study. From the micro perspective to reveal the education problems in practice, let the reader get reference to hope that this study can make teachers to find the direction of training students' autonomous learning and the breakthrough point, parents and students will pay attention to the autonomic learning ability, also contributing to some related research of autonomous learning.
