Study On Lu Nei’s Industrial Novels

In recent years,there have been a number of new attempts to write industrial novels.Lu Nei is one of them.Lu Nei as one of the representatives of the post-70 writers,has written seven full-length novels and one collection of short stories at the moment.Five of them can be classified into industrial novels.His writing is different from the creation mode of traditional industrial novels,and has his own distinct personal characteristics.This thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,main part and conclusion.The introduction part describes the background of industrial novels,makes a diachronic analysis of representative works,and discusses the concept of industrial novels based on the research of many scholars.It also summarizes the current situation of the research on the works of Lu Nei,points out the reasons and innovations of the selected topic,and puts forward the research ideas of this thesis.The main part consists of three parts.The first chapter analyzes the linguistic features of banter in Lu Nei’s industrial novels.In the aspect of narration,most of them take the first-person perspective as the narrative vision,which have the narrative advantage of "the present",and use various narrative methods to integrate the seemingly contradictory prediction and recollection.The author “Lu Nei” also uses dramatic language style to shield the pain of internal reality,presents the writing style of oily and crude,ironic and critical,humorous and joking,and depicts the workers’ images from the perspective of the factory with typical absurd farce,comedy and scuffle.The second chapter discusses that Lu Nei’s feelings about the past are the soul of his industrial novels.He wrote industrial novels again and again,and constructed the youth picture of Lu Xiaolu.He tried to find the ideal country-"Gold Coast" with the theme of "seeking".In addition,his special complex for factories and his concern for the 1990 s are also one of the driving forces for his several industrial novels.The third chapter discusses his personal way to reveal the shortcomings of the planned economy.He paid attention to the helplessness and bleakness of workers in real life.However,he did not intend to complain about the times heartily.He laid the complex social background behind the fate of the characters.After settling down,he reexamined the factory and expressed his independent thinking.In the conclusion part,on the basis of the previous discussion,it is proposed that Lu Nei’s industrial novels provide an effective reference for a wide range of industrial novels,and look forward to the development of industrial novels in the future.
