Research On European Refugee Crisis

The problem of refugee in the world has become all important problem that needs to be solved urgently in the whole world.By the end of 2016,65.6 million individuals were forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution,conflict,violence,or human rights violations.That was an increase of 300,000 people over the previous year,and the world's forcibly displaced population remained at a record high?The outbreak of the European has been the most serious refugee crisis since World War II.Refugee issues that are intertwined with issues of religion,ethnicity,security and human rights are a long-standing,complex,and repetitive world problem.Although the number of refugees in the world in 2017 has been decreased compared to the same period in 2015 and 2016,and the number of refugees in some major passages in Europe has also decreased,the global refugee problem remains serious.In the short term,the unstable countries and regions still have the possibility of generating large numbers of refugees.This article analyzes the refugee crisis in Europe through a combination of quantitative analysis,comparative study,interdisciplinary research,and literature analysis.First,by analysing the international definition of refugee issues,the definition of refugees in this study will be clarified.Second,from the perspective of demographics,the number,source,gender,and age structure of refugees are analyzed,and the causes of refugees in Europe are summarized.Then a series of impacts of refugee resettlement on receiving countries are analyzed.Solving the refugee problem does not only mean objectively reducing the number of people applying for asylum,but also need consider how to effectively change the situation of the refugee-exporting countries in addition to how the refugees should be resettled,managed,and the rationality of shared responsibility among all countries in the world.Essentially improve the living conditions of refugees,thereby reducing the output of refugees.In this paper,through the study of the refugee crisis in Europe and related policies,suggestions are made for the basic path for solving the refugee crisis in Europe,and theoretical support for China's participation in international refugee governance is provided.The study believes that resolving the crisis of European refugees depends on the cooperation between the EU and the member states.It is not simply to reduce the number of refugees,but to seek to solve social problems in essence and focus on the root causes of the refugee crisis.This requires the improvement of the coordination mechanism for refugees in all countries of the world.It also needs to unite international forces and strengthen international cooperation in order to seek a win-win situation.
