The Use Of Group Work Cultivated By Community Elderly Volunteers In Colleges And Universities Research

The ageing population in China is serious.The number of elderly people in the community who are in need of social service has been increasing.There are a large number of elderly people in the community,and the needs are diverse.However,if the existing service capabilities of the social work institutions are to meet the needs of most senior citizens in the community,they have to work overloaded.This has led to a decline in the quality of service in the long term.Therefore,there is a need for development outside the institution.Resources to solve this problem.Related research shows that the elderly are an important social capital.Training elderly people as elderly volunteers and giving full play to their advantages in serving the community can effectively make up for the lack of service capabilities and scope of social worker organizations.This article takes the Xiamen Community Y old community volunteer training tea,m as an example.The author collected data through questionnaire surveys aind interviews.Through analysis of the data,it is known that the present situation of'elderly volunteers in the Y community is not optimistic.The traditional methods of work can hardly improve this situation.Therefore,the method of group work is applied to the Y community.Volunteer training work is necessaty and applicable.Therefore,with the support and cooperation of the internship organization,the author set up a "volunteer and oldest"college community volunteer training team for the elderly based on the guidance of hierarchy theory and advantages.Through the detailed description of'the six group activities and the analysis of the team's work results,the paper summarizes the experience of the work of the group volunteer training team in the community and puts forward proposals for improvement.This article believes that the values,ideas,and practical work methods of the group work have helped the elderly community volunteers in colleges and universities in many ways,overcome the difficulties in educating older volunteers,and train older volunteers to make up for it.The lack of service capacity and the lack of services in social service institutions.
