In recent years,public service activities continue to flourish,the benefit of the community.Volunteers in the participation of public welfare activities bear a very positive and important role,to promote the development of China's public welfare undertakings.Volunteers are the main force of the volunteer team.Good public service ability is a good prerequisite for the successful implementation of public welfare activities,the successful completion of public service tasks.In the practice of public welfare,college students volunteer in the process of devotion to others,warm others,but also exposed such as volunteer action organizational structure is relatively simple,can not fully meet their diversified public service needs;public service is not internalized into college students volunteer The long-term conscious behavior,the service is too formal,the lack of stability of the service team;the other hand,the college students volunteer itself because of public awareness,lack of relevant professional knowledge,did not grasp the appropriate help methods and other reasons feel powerless.Students in the public participation in the encounter these problems,highlighting the lack of public service practice.In this study,the "Xinli sail" project college students volunteer as the research object,through semi-structured interviews,questionnaires,participatory observation and other methods to collect relevant information,the initial assessment of its public practice ability level.The study found that the current college students volunteer public practice ability is low,the performance is not correctly cognitive public welfare,public welfare practice and can not perfect coordination with other volunteers and service object relationship,public service execution ability and management ability to be improved and so on.Therefore,this study attempts to use the development model of the group's working methods to enhance the practical knowledge and practical skills of the social work profession,and to emphasize the participation of the public welfare institutions and public welfare projects to enhance the practical ability of college students volunteer.The six-time group activities are divided into three stages:the first stage through the initial contact with the service object to understand the level of its practical ability,and to briefly introduce the social work of professional theory and practical skills in the practice of public guidance;The second stage is mainly to carry out social workers,public sector and college students volunteer depth interaction,to help them better understand the value and meaning of social work;the third stage is a detailed teaching of social work professional knowledge and practical skills The Through the use of process assessment,the results of the assessment method to assess the effectiveness of the study found that the team members of the public practice ability level has been significantly improved,indicating that social work in improving the practical ability of college students is feasible.Finally,this study summarizes the problem of social work involved in volunteer public service ability of college students,and reconsiders the training program and training effect.It is hoped that through this study,we will be able to initiate research on the related issues of social work involved in the promotion of volunteer public service ability of college students.
