Research On Service Status And Social Work Intervention Strategies Of Veterans

In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the major decision was made to “set up a management and guarantee institution for veterans,safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the military,and make the military become a profession respected by the whole society”.On April 16,2018,the Department of Veterans Affairs was established in Beijing.Since then,the service institutions for veterans have been set up successively from the central government to the village level,opening a new era of centralized management by specialized departments A new model of Veterans Affairs.Today is the future of the active servicemen.To do a good job in the service and guarantee of the former servicemen will benefit not only the former servicemen,but also the active servicemen and their families.It will not only help to solve the practical contradictions,promote the economic and social development,but also help to relieve the worries of the active servicemen and achieve the strategic goal of strengthening the army through reform.In this study,the veterans service institutions at all levels in Qingyuan City and the city's veterans are taken as the research objects,and the research methods such as questionnaire survey,interview and literature research are used to sort out the needs of the retired servicemen,such as employment and entrepreneurship,social adaptation and psychological adjustment,life security,medical security,honor incentive,etc.,which require identification,improve the standard of preferential treatment and subsidy,implement the resettlement policy and life Special difficulties,assistance and other demands.In view of the service demands and petition demands of the veterans,the service institutions of the veterans at all levels in Qingyuan city actively explored and innovated on the basis of implementing the decision-making and deployment of the superior,invested a lot of resources in the construction of the service system of the veterans,and achieved certain results,but there are also high-level operation of petition business,service level and service effect that have not fundamentally changed,and social forces Difficulties such as insufficient participation.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the causes of the dilemma,the author,guided by the theory of service-oriented government and social support system,puts forward that in the face of the increasingly diversified and personalized service needs of veterans,we should learn from the experience of introducing drug control social workers in Qingyuan City,and according to the idea of “government leading and multi-party participation of the society”,we should have places and economy in the current service institutions of veterans at all levels In the case of fee,social work,as an important social force,is also a kind of working concept and working method introduced into the service of veterans,and specific strategies and suggestions for social work to intervene in the service of veterans are put forward,in order to provide reference for improving the service of veterans from the perspective of social work,and then expand the connotation and scope of the service of veterans,Enhance the sense of gain and satisfaction of veterans,and promote social harmony and stability.
