In recent years,the number of veterans in our country has increased year by year.According to national statistics,China has accepted more than 400,000 veterans in 2018.According to related policies,most of the preferential treatment policies and job arrangements revolve around retired cadres and urban veterans.The lack of appropriate policy support and social support for disabled veterans has led them to disengage from social life,be on the margins of society,lack social communication ability and social adaptability,and poor mental status and physical illness have caused great difficulties for disabled veterans to live.With the increase in the number of disabled veterans who have been injured by the public in recent years,this issue has also received widespread attention and attention from the country.How to solve this problem has become a top priority and the intervention of social workers is urgently needed.Disabled veterans are a special group.Such groups are prone to negative performance at the psychological level.First,they lack social experience,miss the army life,and do not want to integrate into the society for re-employment;second,because of physical disability,lack of self-confidence,and lack of effective The psychological counseling often leads to depression in veterans with disabilities.Third,the Veterans Employment Guidance Center can provide fewer suitable jobs for disabled veterans,lacking employment opportunities and social support networks.The social adaptability problems of disabled veterans are mainly manifested in the following aspects: First,a poor sense of self-identity,easy to produce inferiority because of physical disabilities,and unwillingness to contact strangers;second,the lack of social support networks,pressure on social public opinion,and society The public always treats disabled soldiers with a different vision.Lack of interpersonal relationships,and the circle of friends is basically concentrated on past comrades-in-arms.They often call and exchange with veteran colleagues and We Chat.They are unwilling to interact with family,friends and community residents.Skills Training.Paying attention to the problem of the social adaptability of disabled veterans,timely removing the barriers to adaptation,helping them integrate into social life as soon as possible,laying an important foundation for maintaining social stability and promoting social development.Disabled veterans are one of the important service targets of social work.As a special type of veterans,they have more social needs than the general veterans.In recent years,many people with disability veterans have become socially adapted and unable to reintegrate into society.Therefore,this study uses the literature research method,the structure interview method,and the questionnaire survey method to conduct individual social work intervention on disabled veterans from the aspects of self-cognition change,interpersonal relationship construction,family network support,and social network support.
