With the development of modern science and technology and popularization,the use of rich teaching methods for Teaching Chinese as a foreign language has become the consensus of the Chinese teaching workers.Audio-visual class teaching make full use of multimedia equipment,will "see" and "hear" the input process and "speak" the language of the combined output process,at the same time of improving learners'listening comprehension,also can improve their presentation skills and techniques.At the same time,the content of the audio-visual class is not only intuitive and vivid,but also real and nature,can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of learning.Since the 1980s,Chinese as a foreign language audio-visual practice in some schools to open in succession,but so far there is still no unified specification standard of teaching materials,teaching design and teaching.Therefore,the author determined from the aspects of research,hope for the future of Chinese as a foreign language audio-visual provide some references for practice.This paper selects animation Journey to the west as the audio-visual material,verify the feasibility of it as audio-visual teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper mainly uses the content,vocabulary and function of the animation to carry on the verification.Based on the principle of the integrity of the story and the adaptability of language teaching,ten of the contents are chosen for teaching.This paper also compares the lines of these 10 episodes with the analysis of the functional items in the HSK three terms and the functional items in the syllabus for the primary stage of foreign Chinese teaching.The author also carried on the students' Chinese level assessment before the class,at the same time,corresponding to the teaching effect after class(including Chinese culture knowledge and language level)feedback.The author applied the animation to the Chinese class for Thai primary students,because my ability is limited,there are some problems in the whole teaching process and the insufficiency.But the use of animation for audio-visual class teaching has obtained the certain effect that the learner's favorite and affirmation.At the same time,it also reflects the animation Journey to the west is suitable for the primary stage of Chinese learners.
