Audio visual class is a special course in Minsheng middle school of Phnom Penh,Cambodia,aiming at improving students' Chinese listening ability and knowing more about Chinese culture through watching videos.Base on analysis of learning features of the four-grade students i teach in Minsheng middle school,as well as the course features and teaching condition,this essay explore the relevant Chinese culture expanding education,design and put the concrete Chinese audio visual class into practice.Finally,the reference valuable experience is gained from practice.The four-grade students i teach is very active and outgoing,who also like Chinese and newfangled stuff.But their learning goal is not clear.According to these features and the course content itself,this essay select” Chinese Spring Festival”,China is large,I want to go explore and Charming Guangzhou these three classic case,and design Chinese culture audio visual class.Course is mainly about students watching videos,thinking in contrast and participate properly.Me guiding and explaining as supplement.Trough this to motivate students interest in Chinese and Chinese culture,knowing more about China.On the basis of the practice of Audio visual culture class,this essay concludes as below:1).Designing Chinese culture audio visual class according to text book content have gain good effects,this method works.2).The effect will be better if we can combine the course content with culture experience.3).Because lack of available teaching material and resource,teacher need to design the course alone,which makes the workload heavier and consume more time.4).Culture educating need to be under monitoring according to Cambodian students' actual condition.5).Video selecting and using is the tough point during culture education.Teacher not only need to consider video duration is appropriate for class,but also need to consider if it is understandable for students.More importantly,we need to take students' interest into account.
