In China,women's competitive sports have been recognized by the society because of their outstanding achievements.However,most people still have a negative attitude towards women's participation in sports because of China cultural and traditional habits.It is considered that women's participation in sports will no longer conform to women's social gender position,and women will be masculine.Some people believe that sports can change the gender roles of women.In sports,women will also feel the role conflict because of gender roles.The female students from sports universities and colleges are a special group of young people.They accept culture education as a normal college student,at the same time they are athletes for many years.Are their gender roles influenced by sports? In sports,they feel their special love or hate to their sports project.These questions are worth studying in this group.Therefore,this study does an investigation about sports participation behavior of the female students from sports universities and colleges based on the perspective of gender roles.It is hoped that we can know the present situation of sports participation,and female students can eliminate fear in sports,promote the development of women's sports.By using the document literature,questionnaire survey and mathematical analysis,this paper taking the female college students of Shanghai University of Sport as the research object,uses the questionnaire survey to analyze the status of sports participation and gender roles and analyze the influence of gender roles on the sports participation.350 questionnaires were sent out,326 of which were effective.Descriptive statistics,factor analysis,variance analysis and other methods were used to analyze the data and draw relevant conclusions and suggestions.This paper investigates the degree of sports knowledge mastery,sports emotion,sports participation and so on.The study found that the female students from sports universities and colleges have better degree of special technical knowledge mastery,they pay more attention to their sports project theory and knowledge.Students can feel the sense of success,honor in participating in sports activities.But the students have more complex emotion to their sports projects.Most students have positive emotion to sports projects,but negative feelings are really existence.More than half of the students are willing to engage in sports work about their sports project in the future.Secondly,in the survey of students' sports participation behavior,it is founded the students have a long time and high frequency of participating in sports project activities.These features are accord with the identity of athlete.The largest number appears androgynous tendencies of the female students from sports universities and colleges.The result of the study is in line with the previous results.There is no significant difference in the gender roles of different types of sports projects.There is no significant difference in the gender roles of sports knowledge mastery.There are significant differences in the gender roles of emotional experience in sports participation,sports positive feelings,and sports negative feelings.The main difference is that there are significant differences between the feminization tendency and the other gender role types in the sports participation emotions.In order to promote female students from sports universities and colleges to better engage in sports learning and training,the paper put forward some suggestions:Perfect the system of courses structure,schools should actively set up some courses from difference colleges.Students should adjust the mind actively,and correctly deal with the results of sports competition and competing in sports games.Students should reasonably arrange the training and entertainments in free time.Set up sports for both men and women.Establish a correct view of gender and change gender atmosphere in college.To create a cultural atmosphere that people do not discriminate against any gender roles in Colleges and Universities.To promote female to understand and identification of self-gender roles and self-image.
