Through investigation and analysis of the language modification with Chinese textbook of the People' Education Press for Grade Six(Volume ?),this paper is listed with means and effects of language modification.Firstly,make a brief statistics of the language modification.Review the means of language modification from the aspects of words,sentences,punctuation's increase or decrease and replacement.Secondly,analyze the effect of language modification.It is mainly divided into the following aspects:words are more neat,sentences are more fluent,syntactical structures are more balanced,themes are more prominent,and articles are easier to understand.Finally,the contents of the language modification are enumerated from each lesson in order to supplement the study of the language modification of the PEP primary Chinese textbook.
