In recent years,with the increase of marathon events,the number of amateur runners has increased year by year.Amateur runners have an urgent need to know about marathon training and improve their performance.At present,the research on marathon is mainly about professional athletes.There are few studies on a large number of amateur athletes and fewer amateur marathon runners.Therefore,this study is conducive to enriching the theoretical system of marathon training.This article mainly uses the literature material method,the questionnaire survey method,the interview method,the mathematical analysis method to carry on the research,through carries on the questionnaire investigation to the Beijing Marathon Association entire marathon mass level two or more runners,According to the results of questionnaire survey and expert interview,we find out the problems existing in the training and competition process.According to the characteristics of marathon events and the results of some runners,some suggestions are put forward in order to improve the training quality and sports level of amateur marathon runners,and to provide a reference basis for the junior runners to draw up training plan arrangements for participating in the race.Conclusion: Amateur runners have low annual running volume,short single long distance training,insufficient technical training arrangements,and lack of strength training for small muscle groups,trunk,upper limbs and injured parts.The pertinence of pre-competition training is not high;most people's pre-competition reduction arrangement is unreasonable,the recovery time after competition is short,and the recovery training after competition is not timely enough;the recovery time after daily training needs to be lengthened;the speed control ability of the whole course and each segment is insufficient,the speed of the first half is higher than that of the second half,and the speed of the first half is obviously reduced from 35 km.It is suggested that excellent amateur marathon runners should increase the amount of running in the whole year,increase technical training in training contents,pay attention to strength exercises in upper limbs,small muscle groups and vulnerable parts,and improve the attention paid to warm-up and restorative training.Pre-match adjustment period should reduce the training volume to maintain about 70% training intensity,interspersed 1 / 2heavy load training.In daily training,we should improve the ability of late run,strengthen the ability to control the speed,and reduce the fluctuation of the speed.
