Analysis Of The Competitive Development Situation Of Top Eight Teams And Players In The 11th To 13th National Games Of Individual Tennis Events

The national games,as the games with the highest level and the highest level in China,is an important platform to display the highest level of sports competition and test the growth of sports elites among provinces and cities.This paper adopts the methods of literature,cluster analysis,comparative analysis and logical analysis.On the one hand,the number of finalists and the distribution of seeded players of the individual tennis team in the 11 th to 13 th national games is collected to reveal the tennis competition pattern and its changing characteristics in China in recent ten years.On the other hand,the data on international rankings and relevant ages of the top eight athletes in the national games are analyzed to explore the development trend,development speed,level gap of China's competitive tennis level in recent ten years.The study concluded that:1.The changes to the competition rules of the 13 th national games are reflected in the competition items,competition methods and the methods of producing the final qualification;The adjustment of competition regulations compromises the strength of strong teams,increases the chances of each team to win gold and silver,and mobilizes the enthusiasm of each team to prepare for the competition.2.Beijing,jiangsu,tianjin and Shanghai teams held advantageous positions in the men's event,while tianjin team dominated the women's event.On the contrary,the competitive advantages of Shanghai women's team,hubei men's team and PLA men's team could not keep any more.3.The competition among the seeded players is very fierce,but the overall performance is stable.The competition for the last eight is basically between seeded players,so unseeded players are less likely to advance to the last eight of the singles and doubles events.4.From the eleven to thirteen national games,the ATP or WTA rankings of individual top eight athletes have increased as a whole.Especially after the 12 th national games,China's tennis level accelerated.In terms of international ranking,there is still a big gap between men's and women's level in China.5.Chinese women tennis players generally start their career in singles and doubles earlier than men,with longer sports years and more stamina.
