Research On College Students' Voluntary Service

The 19th CPC national congress pointed out that we should actively promote the institutionalization of voluntary services.As social development advocates spiritual civilization construction more and more,voluntary service also receives more people's attention.The development level of voluntary service indicates the development level of spiritual civilization.Voluntary spirit is not only the traditional virtue of our country,but also the result of human civilization and the spirit of The Times.Volunteerism not only embodies the essence of unity,friendship and helping others in the national spirit of China,but also meets the essential requirements of socialism in the new era of socialist construction.To publicize the spirit of volunteerism and call on more people to join the ranks of volunteers and care for and help others is of great significance to carrying forward socialist core values,promoting the building of spiritual civilization for the whole people and achieving the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.Among the numerous voluntary services,university students' voluntary services are representative and significant.In the organization to the group of college students volunteer service activities,is to carry forward the concept of volunteer,responded to an appeal by the 19 big and practice the socialist core value system,and development of physical and mental health of college students themselves also stimulates the ideological and political education activities,at the same time,also help university student,in order to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation to cultivate high-quality talents,promote the construction of social development.In this study,a total of 600 questionnaires were distributed and 586 questionnaires were collected through questionnaires and interviews.Four universities in shijiazhuang were selected as the research objects,namely hebei university of economics and business,hebei normal university,shijiazhuang railway university and hebei university of science and technology.Through the questionnaire collection of students from these four universities,the paper analyzes the number of volunteers,service intention,service channels,participating volunteer organizations and the effect of volunteer service.Based on the statistical analysis of the data,this paper investigates the problems existing in college students' participation in voluntary service in shijiazhuang.Through the survey found that there are many problems the college students volunteer service,from the point of the government,on the college students volunteer service activities carried out the policy support is insufficient,from the point of social,community volunteer service environment is poor,and lack of social support,from the point of a university volunteer service organizations,colleges and universities volunteer management operation mechanism is not perfect,lack of innovative college students volunteer service work,from the point of college students volunteer their own quality,understanding of volunteer service activities is not profound,and with the utilitarian tendency,college students volunteer their own quality to enhance first.In view of the content of the above mentioned a series of problems,from the point of the government,to strengthen policy guidance,with the socialist core values guide college volunteer service behavior,from the point of society,in order to create a conducive to university volunteer encouraging public opinion environment,abundant volunteer financing source,from the perspective of colleges and universities,colleges and universities to improve the running mechanism of voluntary organizations,improve the management level,targeted innovation in volunteer activities form;From the perspective of individual college students,we should strengthen self-education,view volunteer service with correct ideas,and exercise ourselves in various social practices.
