In recent years,a wave of mathematics core literacy wind,mathematics education has become a mainstream topic.Core mathematical literacy includes: mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operations and data analysis.In mathematics,logical reasoning is mathematical reasoning,mainly refers to the use of mathematical thinking to think and solve problems,including reasonable reasoning and deductive reasoning.As the premise of learning mathematics well,mathematical reasoning deserves our attention.Therefore,it is very important to improve students' mathematical reasoning ability.This paper starts from the improvement of students' mathematical reasoning ability to explore the current situation of students' mathematical reasoning ability,and comes to the following conclusions :(1)there are significant differences between the students of grade two and grade three in mathematical reasoning ability;(2)there are differences between boys and girls in mathematical reasoning ability,but there is no significant difference.And high school students are better at logical reasoning than deductive reasoning.In addition,this paper mainly includes seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the relevant research background,research significance,research problems and research methods.Among them,the main research question of this paper is to understand the current status of mathematical reasoning of senior two and senior three students,and analyze the correlation between gender,grade and mathematical reasoning ability.The second chapter is related concepts and literature review at home and abroad.It mainly introduces mathematical reasoning ability and types of mathematical reasoning,and piaget's cognitive development theory.The third chapter is the research design,which mainly introduces the research objectives,research methods,survey objects,etc.,and explains the relevant questions in the questionnaire and test.The main method is to use EXCEL and SPSS for analysis.The fourth chapter is related statistics and data analysis of questionnaire and test questions.The fifth chapter is the teaching design designed to promote students' mathematical reasoning ability.The sixth chapter is related conclusions and corresponding Suggestions.Put forward the following Suggestions to improve the mathematical reasoning ability of high school students:(1)pay attention to the training of mathematics teachers,improve the comprehensive quality of teachers(2)encourage students to read more mathematics related books(3)pay attention to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,pay attention to different groups of students mathematical reasoning(4)create the situation,let students in the process of reasoning to obtain knowledge.The seventh chapter is the deficiency of the research and the related prospect.
